How to tell whether a gaming app is real or fake, in nine checks

"Is this app real or fake" is the most searched question in this entire category, and it is the wrong question, because the answer is almost never binary. The scam tells, in order of how common they are

1. 1A fee demanded to release your withdrawal. Processing charge, tax clearance, unlock fee, any name. No legitimate platform charges you to give you your money.
2. 2Support that contacts you first on WhatsApp or Telegram. Real support lives inside the app. Anyone messaging you claiming otherwise is not support.
3. 3Guaranteed-win predictions or paid "tricks". Chance formats cannot be beaten by a pattern, and anyone selling one knows that.
4. 4A bonus that keeps needing one more deposit to unlock. Playthrough conditions are published and finite. Moving goalposts are not a playthrough condition.
5. 5An APK sent to you directly rather than downloaded from the official domain.
